I had a hard time spending money on maternity clothes, this time, knowing it would be the last time I would wear them. I had some essentials from my first pregnancy, but of course, the seasons were not lined up and the thought of wearing jeans and tee shirts in 90-degree weather left me crying in a corner.
Enter Queen Bee Maternity, my saving grace! Their clothes were so cute, comfy, but the best part…they transition from pregnancy to nursing mama with you! Yep you heard that right, they are clothes you can keep wearing when you bid farewell to your bump! I was excited when they asked me to try some out to share with you. They sent me a dress that I lived in this summer and a shirt that is perfect for these fall temps that are coming to the Northeast.
This dress is everything. EVERYTHING I tell you. I am a furnace pregnant or not, so a summer pregnancy has proven to be a challenge for this mama. The material is soft and breathable, two things that make my heart skip a beat. Plus to adorable, and that’s the ultimate win. When you get to 8 months, beautiful isn’t something you feel much, so I’ll take any help I can get! Also, notice that blue on the top? That LIFTS UP!!!! Making this your go to nursing dress. No fumbling to feed your baby, just a simple lift of this flap and you are good to go. Score!
The second piece they sent me was this shirt. This is a shirt you would find in my closet even when I’m not pregnant. Grey is ALWAYS my go-to color when it comes to fashion and decor. My husband always says the only colors I know are white and grey, and it’s true. Something about a good neutral that makes my soul happy. Anyway back on track…. this shirt. I’m really really large right now, and this baby is LOW so finding a shirt maternity or not that covers me if a challenge, so this will be worn a TON when Lennon is here. Like the dress, the top flap of fabric lifts up making for quick and easy nursing. I love that companies are starting to extend the life of your maternity clothes and taking nursing into consideration.
If you are pregnant and want to still look stylish than you need to check out Queen Bee. I am far from a stylish person, I am not a fashion blogger at all, but even I felt like I was looking good in these pieces! Plus you can totally justify it to your husband because you get to wear them long after you have your precious baby!
