We recently shared our Gift Guide For The Littles and it was a huge hit! I get it guys…gift giving is hard and stressful, so let us take care of that for you! Today we have the greatest gift for the bigger kids in your life. They are all tested and loved by my 4 year old! I promise you no matter which ones you snag up you’ll be the coolest mom on the block.
This was featured on our Littles guide too but it certainly deserved a spot on here too. My oldest sleeps with these every single night and her Fox goes everywhere we go. If you haven’t heard of Slumberkins yet they are these amazing, cuddly, creatures created to promote relaxation at bedtime. They even have these adorable board books to go with your Slumberkin. This company was formed by two BFF’s who just so happen to both be in education. The company is great, the product is AMAZING, and the purpose melts my heart. This is certainly a gift you should snag for every kid on your list.
I LOVE this present! I’m all about any toy that is educational and makes my girls want to learn. The toolkit comes with: A booklet filled with lessons for the 10 main goals in Kindergarten, 4 sets of flash cards, a white board with a pen & eraser, and a piece of chalk to encourage outdoor learning. The 4 sets of flash cards have upper & lowercase numbers ,numbers 1-20, 25 sight words, and 10 colors & shapes. I really love that is comes with lesson plans for me. I feel like so often I grab some flashcards at Target and then have zero idea how to help my child with me. I am NOT an educator and I wasn’t really a fan of school, so this tool kit is probably just as much a present for me as for them! Noelle is almost 4 and she has most of the sight words down and loves to practice her letters on the dry erase board. Make learning fun!
This book..AMAZING! Maybe it’s because I’m a lover of the hustle but it’s the best book I’ve read the girls. It shows them to never ever give up on an idea no matter how crazy someone thinks it is. I’m the type of mom that if I’m going to spend money on a book, instead of a library trip, it’s going to be good. It’s going to teach them something and inspire them. This book does that, heck it still inspires me. Sometimes when my hustle drive is low I will reread this to myself and I get that little boost I need!
Guys…this stuff is so much fun, it’s scented play dough. Now this was most certainly Noelle’s favorite thing we got for this list because well she’s almost 4 and what 4 year old isn’t obsessed with play dough? This isn’t’ your typical play dough though, it’s so soft and smells like heaven! We have Wintergreen and Noelle cracks up every time I open the container because “it smells like heaven” as she says. My favorite part might be that you can purchase monthly subscriptions of it so you get a new fun scent every month!
We have the Explorer Box and I was really amazed by it. Get Qurious is all about supporting S.T.E.M and it’s actually the 2017 TILLYWIG BRAIN CHILD AWARD winner. This fun box can be used alone but you can also scan in on your iPad and watch it all come to life. As a girl mom one of my goals is to really encourage S.T.E.M learning with them. I know how important this field is and how these two girls of mine can make huge strides if their love of these areas are nurtured. This might be our most used toy around here lately and I can’t wait to get my hands on more of their products.
Well if you haven’t caught on yet I really love monthly subscriptions boxes, especially in our brutal winters when we are trapped at home, that nice little package from the postman is a treat! Mom ‘N Tot Box is a specially curated monthly box that is customized for your kids ages, gender, and what they love to play with. We did the Sibling box and everything in it was great. I really love that it’s created by a mom and that it’s made in the USA meaning we are supporting other small shops in the process. I mean look at how cute this stuff is!
This is another this that appeared on our Littles guide but I needed to put it here too! This diffuser is a nightly staple here and I was really surprised that Noelle loved it. She plays the music every night to go to bed and loves the light show on the ceiling. I love that she loves something I’m secretly using to fight off germs and get her to sleep. Mom win!
I hope you fill your Santa bag with all of these amazing toys for your kids. If you do I promise you they will love them! Merry Christmas (shopping)
