The past two Christmas’ buying for the girls has been easy. However this year I have run into some challenges because they are into a lot of the same thing. My inbox is full of moms in my shoes begging me for some Christmas ideas, so I thought I would put together a list for 2 and 5 year old girls! I also have some great lists coming for everyone else on your list! Some of the items will be the same (girl mom life) but each list has some great ideas! This was the first year Matt and I sat down and created a budget for Christmas. Normally it’s just me blacking out for an entire month and buying it all. This year we wanted to give the girls great gifts that they would love but that were worth spending our money on. I feel like so many times we just buy buy buy the entire Christmas list and by February half of it is broken, lost, or our kids don’t touch it. So hopefully my hours of planning and searching for the best gifts pay off for you too!
Lennon Jane loves her a good tea party! My brother in law actually makes the cutest ceramic tea sets but she is still too young to use it without destroying it. This set from Pottery Barn Kids is the perfect fix! It’s made from recycled milk jugs and 100% food safe so we can have actual tea parties! I mean come on could it get any cuter?
I hit Pottery Barn Kids hard this year for gifts and this is another one. I just feel like you can’t go wrong with Pottery Barn because the quality is always there. My kids are also super obsessed with unicorns (you’ll see this as my list goes on) and Pottery Barn does it without it being gaudy aka my nightmare. This little lap desk will be perfect for coloring in the car and we spend a lot of time in the car!
I knew I wanted to get the girls picnic baskets for Christmas but this one came with wooden food so it was perfect for Lennon. I love a cute wooden toy and I see Lennon playing with this nonstop!
We have had our fair share of plastic doctor sets but they break so quickly. I decided to get Lennon this adorable wooden one in hopes that it’s stronger and last a lot longer. I have learned in my mom life that wooden toys are typically the way to go.
Pottery Barn has the cutest doll strollers ever and this one is no exception. I actually had the Pram in my cart and ready to checkout but our girls love to take their strollers everywhere with them so I went with the umbrella to make packing easier!
I don’t know about you but my kids are super obsessed with umbrellas! We also have seemed to get an ungodly amount of rain here in the Northeast so this is a practical gift they will love. This umbrella is super on sale right now so it might sell out…don’t wait!
I found Oatmeal Lace Design and had to have aprons for all of us. My girls love cooking in the kitchen with me and these were too cute to pass up. We are also slightly addicted to monograms here in the McGee house so this is sure to be hit!
Shocker another unicorn item! I wasn’t joking when I said they were obsessed guys. My mother in law got them both these adorable sleeping bags and I know they will be a huge hit. Our girls really love movie nights in the living room which typically means I have to carry up 50 blankets…not anymore! I just wonder if they make one in my size?
It’s tough finding board games for Lennon because the ones her sister likes are too old for her. A friend recommended this game and I can’t wait to play it! This game is designed to help with fine motor, concentration, recognition, and language skills…aka mom win!
A girlfriend suggested these to me from Timber Wolf Concepts and I LOVE them! They are handmade from natural hardwood, meaning no chemicals or dyes. I plan on carrying one in my purse at all times to keep Lennon busy in the car or our countless Target trips. She loves anything that makes her feel like a big kid and this is gonna do the trick!
Hello this is a unicorn with a monogram…their two favorite things, clearly we had to get it. It’s cold here in the Northeast for a really long time so I know this warm snuggly robe will get a lot of use.
Pottery Barn sells these adorable Götz dolls and the quality is top notch. Another win was she matches their unicorn sleeping bags they are getting from Grandma, making the sleepover complete.
Guys this is the cutest thing I have ever seen. One of my girlfriends showed me this and I had to get it! It’s from a small shop called Sunshine & Pine and Lennon is going to love being able to bowl from home! These little wooden bowling sets are painted in the prettiest colors too!
There you have it! My gift guide for a 2 year old girl. I do still have a few things on my list I want to get her and some clothes so I will update this if I do! What are you getting your kids? I’m always looking for great ideas, leave yours in the comments.
