I was provided product and or monetary compensation for my post. However all thoughts are 100% my own.
Planning a nursery is one of my favorite things about being pregnant. I spend hours and hours pinning away the perfect rooms and planning it all out. From the crib to the curtains I have a vision but I did overlook something pretty important. The mattress!
It’s odd that me, the Queen of details, would overlook something like a mattress but I did…twice!
I just grabbed one at the store when I was pregnant the first time and threw it in the crib the second time around. Then in one of my late night feeding sessions I stumbled onto an article about the chemicals found in your mattress and I was slightly terrified. Your typical crib mattress has all sorts of gross things in it like: latex, adhesives, and foam. They are known to be big allergens for kids and can actually release their gasses right into your babies air. No thanks!
We all know that the safest way to put our sweet babies to sleep in on their back, however they don’t always like to stay there. This mattress is 100% breathable so it greatly reduces the risk of suffocation for when your babe doesn’t stay put. The mattress is created with Wovenaire technology, which is the highest quality polymer. It’s 90% air and 10% food-grade polymer and provides the comfort of foam and latex without any of the drawbacks. It’s also made right here in the USA.
Wovenaire is actually a better quality than an organic mattress. Did you know that most organic mattresses aren’t actually totally organic? Yep! You paid that price for your fancy mattress for nothing. They also aren’t washable which makes your mattress a breading ground for allergens and mold. Yuck!
My favorite part isn’t even the safety though
When I got this I was I was excited because it was healthier but mostly I LOVED that it was washable. Yup, you read that it’s washable. No it doesn’t have that weird plastic shell like most mattresses that you can wipe down. They made it super easy for you. All you do it unzip the cover and toss it in the washing machine and then you can take the core and toss it in your tub. Lets face it babies are adorable but they are disgusting and they don’t give a poo (pun intended) what their bodily functions ruin.
It’s also amazingly comfortable
Lennon’s old mattress was AWFUL. It was noisy, hard, and if I was her I wouldn’t of wanted to sleep on it at all. This mattress is soft and so comfy! I’m not to proud to admit that I have fallen asleep in the crib once or twice with a sleepy baby and now I get why she sleeps 12 + hours on this thing…it’s AMAZING! You can also try it for 100 nights and if your baby hates it ( they won’t) you can return it! We all deserve the best sleep possible, even those tiny humans we have created.

LEAVE! Go grab your babe a Newton Baby Mattress because I promise you that you will end up thanking me!
